Daniel Tupou has called time on his NRL career just days after the Sydney Roosters claimed the grand final. The winger departs the competition as a four-time premiership winner, all earned with the Roosters, having never suited up for a rival team.
The Roosters admitted to being "lost for words" at his departure. Tupou's whole playing life was spent in red, white and blue, leaving him regarded as one of the most committed one-club figures in the competition's modern era.
