World Space Week 2026 is under way from October 4 to 10 under the theme "Rocket Revolution," built around how falling launch costs could make space available to more countries and organisations. Google marked the occasion with a dedicated Doodle, while Adafruit joined events tied to the week.

The European Space Agency partnered with Pokemon GO to offer a time-limited Astronaut Pikachu to players during the week. Katara also joined activities connected to the event. World Space Week is the largest annual space event on Earth, marked in more than 90 countries.
