Evacuation alerts have been activated on the edges of Logan Lake, BC. Both the local municipal district and the town itself issued the notices. The Guichon Creek fire sits at 88 hectares. That one is still uncontained. Crews are actively monitoring it. Residents have been told to get ready to leave if the situation worsens.

A separate fire near Monte Lake, right beside Highway 97, burned 12 hectares. Crews were able to suppress that one. It is completely contained now. The two fires sit within a bigger push to manage the local wildfire situation, per the statement on July 30, 2026.
