George Furbank cannot play for England this weekend. Doctors diagnosed he has appendicitis. He had to go just prior to kickoff in Johannesburg.
Marcus Smith will now play full-back instead. England face South Africa in the first match. Furbank’s starting role is gone because he is unfit.
