A series of Ukrainian drone strikes have hit Russian oil infrastructure, forcing all major Lukoil refineries offline. Russia is unable to process or export oil as refineries can no longer process it following the Ukrainian strikes. The situation has left Russia working urgently to seek oil imports. In addition, the offensive against Russian oil infrastructure sparked petrol panic throughout Central Asia.
Russia launched major late-night missile and drone attacks against nine Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv. The Russian strikes hit Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, resulting in several people injured.
