London police came across a young marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the lost animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had no water while quivering. It withstood the harsh ordeal. Animal advocates described it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a rare monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery came during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
