Michael Taaffe made his first NFL start. He finished with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety picked off Kirk Cousins after the break. Taaffe lined up at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not part of the starting safety duo. The interception happened on the drive that opened the half. It gave Miami the ball to start the half. Kirk Cousins later wound up with his third touchdown pass. That gave them a lead of 24-13 at that stage. Taaffe's takeaway was the rookie's maiden NFL interception of the game.
