It gave the Giants the upper hand. Jaxson Dart hit Isaiah Likely for a touchdown. That made it 14-7 at halftime. Caleb Downs dropped Dart for his first NFL sack in the opener. The pick and the sack counted as the biggest defensive plays in the opening half.
