Long lines have appeared at gas stations across Russia. A mother and child in one area reported an 18-hour wait to buy fuel. Domestic shortages have deepened as Ukrainian forces sharply increased attacks on Russian oil-processing plants and storage facilities.
Russia is now arranging shipments of jet fuel from North Asia to fill supply gaps, sources noted.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian security services denounced a Russian drone strike on a nuclear-fuel storage site in the Zaporizhzhia region. They called the attack a serious violation of international law.
