Fifteen-year-old Cooper Lutkenhaus just booked his place in the 800m final at USATF Nationals. He ran under 1:50 the previous season, two meets earlier. His father trains him at present. The father coaches at Nebraska-Kearney while coaching his son at meets in New York lately. Lutkenhaus stays cool in races in spite of the jump up ranks. Scouts now observe his consistent times and laser focus as he pursues higher tracks.
