Connor Goldson made it through a 13-hour cardiac procedure overnight.

He spent Sunday night in the ICU after doctors finished the job.

Goldson wrote a short post just after midnight to say he's holding steady.

This was the second time in recent months he has needed significant operation.

The defender has now left hospital and is recovering at his house with his family nearby.

Medical staff have him under observation as he recovers.
