Facing Sale in key Game 3, Dodgers drop Ohtani to 5th in lineup - MLB.com

Sale Takes Mound for Braves in Rare Pitching Matchup

Chris Sale gets the start for Atlanta against Los Angeles in NLDS Game 3 on Tuesday, squaring off against Yoshinobu Yamamoto in a pitching duel MLB.com calls the first of its kind in 88 years. The Braves saved Sale specifically for this start, a move CBS Sports said worked out for Atlanta.

The Dodgers answered by dropping Shohei Ohtani from his usual lineup spot to fifth ahead of the game. Los Angeles enters trying to figure out how to solve Sale, who has been in strong form since Atlanta held him back for this start in the series.
