BC Wildfire Service crews went to a fire burning near Highway 97 in Peachland. Firefighters are on site. The service confirmed that crews are holding the fire now. Meanwhile, a separate wildfire had developed near Highway 3 east of Princeton. That fire grew to seven hectares.
Police officers are currently examining a rollover crash on Highway 97. Video footage recorded the moment. The RCMP suspect that alcohol played a part in the vehicle crash. Local news outlet Castanet also shared a Kelowna tribute notice for Debbie Florence Turner.
